These Instructors can all trace their roots and knowledge directly from Bruce Lee himself. The teachings that were passed down from Sijo Bruce Lee to Sifu Taky Kimura and now to his long time students Abe Santos and Mike Hilow.

Although acknowledgement, certifications, and recognition is appreciated we must always remember that it is only dedication and hard work through hours of learning and training to further one’s knowledge and skill in Jun Fan Gung Fu/Jeet Kune Do that truly matters. Without this than it is only mere words or a piece of paper given to you because of how much you have paid, who you know, or your last name.

Abe Santos and Mike Hilow have shown their loyalty through their years with Sifu Taky Kimura and the Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute. It is only hard work through many hours of learning and training and not merely paying for a “weekend certificate” or an affiliation that you can truly learn and appreciate Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do. This is what Sijo Bruce Lee and Sifu Taky believed in!
